Woody and the Dogs support the ocean-inspired band, Seas of Mirth at their Glasgow show

On October 10th, Woody and the Dogs took on the streets of Scotland for their second-ever performance in the city at Audio Glasgow.

Opening for the headline band, Seas of Mirth, who are currently on tour to promote their latest album, KRILER, the Edinburgh-based band made their trip over city lines to deliver a stellar performance alongside the second support act, Dots Pixies.

The Dogs took to the stage with an explosive energy, fusing elements of indie rock and garage-punk into an opening act that got the crowd grooving to every beat they played. With a great mix of originals and truly inspiring covers, the band took on their new surroundings head on, holding nothing back from their unfamiliar crowd.

For this Glasgow appearance, the Dogs were joined by Alanna Hall, who stepped in to fill the role of bassist for a one-night experience. Despite being the first openers of the night, Woody and the Dogs were met with applause all-round from a crowd who must have become new fans by the end of their set.

The Dogs might have left the stage soon after, but their stellar performance stayed in the audience’s minds, even when Sea of Mirth brought out jellyfish umbrellas and started a game of tug of war with the crowd.
